Clan battle (8 v 8) with B.O.S. clan - POSTPONED

Clan battle has been postponed for at least a couple of weeks

Their clan is having problems (like us) getting enough players. They did invite our guys to check out and play on their server. Search for "Like a (BOS)".




This will be a first come, first serve basis. I will enlist 12 recruits + 4 alternates/subs.

Requirements:
There are no skill or k/d requirements here. But you will be required to be a team player and work as a team. Lastly, EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION IS A MUST! No talking over others. No distracting side talk.

Game Specifics:
There will be one field general to give orders/callouts during game. Strategies will be developed once gamemode and maps have been selected. Though this is not an official competitive match, we want to put our best foot forward!

depending on what day of the week i can make it

i am down for wednesday. on any other day after 6pm mst works for me

im in i would much prefer it, if its held on tuesday or thursday though. wednesday might be a problem for me

bit late for me think it will be 12am gmt so think it may be too late foor most of the uk/eu gamers may be a friday would be a good date

After my initial chat with their leader, they could only do Tue/Wed/Thurs. Not other days. And, I'm setting it for 7pm EST in hopes of catching some EU players. If I set it for 11pm EST, it presents the same problem for you blokes. I think 4am start for you guys would be even harsher...

I hope to get more feedback/responses from everyone interested. But, I will go back and try to set up a WEEKEND match.

ill be at work at that time but if you all are still on when i get home at 10pm EST and playing ill join you.

So if were going to do this i think we should practise a little or at least talk about Squad assignments and rush vs conquest tactics and general team cohesiveness.

Update - Cant make it on tuesday or wednesday, gotta work ot on my day off. But thursday is free and clear for whatever time you need.

you can put me down for an ALT player, in-case there isn't enough people. I don't play much, but if needed I can join. 7-9pm on any weekday is usually ok for me.

Im down, just dont make it to late eastern time.

Based on ppl who've responded so far, it is looking more like a Thursday, but will not know for sure until we have a full team.

We will figure out game mode, and subsequently maps/strategies, when 12 recruits + alternates have signed up. We won't be going into battle willy nilly w/o a gameplan.

Sweet. i have a suggestion tho. we should make the game conquest since were only doing three matches so that way one team doesnt have to attack or defend twice while the other only does it once. conquest is the truly even choice

I say either make all 3 conquest or have 2 rush(so each team can attack and defend) and 1 conquest..

Hope you guy get practising and win, can I make a suggesting about making squad captains and then making sure you use the right squad specialist for each squad

I'd say rush, play it out like GB do, 3 matches = 3 maps with both teams attacking and defending all maps

That could work, woever is designated field general should orginize the practises.

I think the best way to do it is to have all four squads with their own objective/mission and only squad leaders have voip set to team to communicate.

Rush - That way you have 2 squads to attack each m-com. One to distract, one to flank.

Conquest - 1 Squad at each objective with one to float for support (or to be the vehicle squad on large maps, which would still be able to be the floater)
