BF3 Clan setup

ok in order to be part of a clan in BF3 everyone needs to make sure they have an EA Origins account that is synced with the PSN name. Once you have an account setup u can either search and then apply to the clan or i can send u an invite. The link for the clan is

Also make sure you have signed into the battlelog.

@ Dub...would you be able to provide a link that will take us to the place to create an EA Origins account?

Also...I guess I already have an EA account set up. Didn't know..lol. Nevertheless, when I tried to log in following the link you provided it said, "Your account is not allowed to login". Any idea why? Because I haven't played the game yet? That wouldn't be it would it?

im not a %100 on any of this tho as its a real pain in the ass to get this setup.

Shady I was having the same issue but I was able to get access by going to the following site.......

www.origin.com

I then clicked register and then selected the link to psn button.

Once I got that taken care of I could access the 4gc platoon that dub set up.

I have an ID already on EA but it doesn't accept it for the battlelog - I thought Origin and EA accounts were the same - I'll look at it later when I have more time.

~~Of course as I haven't got the game yet I won't be much use!

Well after a session last night I tried to setup my Battlelog today and it says...

"Your account is not allowed to log in."

Any suggestions?

I talked to customer support and they said they changed a few things with my account and to give it half an hour, well half an hour later... I still cant log in.

Ugh.

go to www.origin.com you will set up your ea account there. at some point in the process there is a button to push so that you can link your psn with it.

Ok...I'm confused. I am able to login now but I can't seem to find where I link my PSN nor can I find the 4GC clan. Can someone help me out?

Do you need to have the same name as PSN name when you register?

Everyone who has this game should sign up in the platoon. Also, add the other members as friends. That way, we can all compare our stats and see who is top doggie.

How to sign up for the platoon:

Log into Battlelog.
Under platoon tab, "Find or create platoon".
Type 4GC in search box.
Click on 4GC.
Click "Apply to join" in upper right.
Wait for Dub to accept you.
Click on all members and "Add as friend".
Done.

I tried to set you up for a good one. Just use the I can't believe it's not butter butter. It leaves less of a rash!

i sent a request in too. i'll be playing just battle field until MW3. maybe MW2 the night before release.

To be able to log into battlelog, you need a couple of things. I had a chat with live EA support last night, and after an hour we found out what the problem was.

basically:

You must have an EA account. ( EA accounts are linked to Origins accounts)
Once on your EA/Origin account settings, you need to Link your PSN account to your EA account. This can be done by adding a persona.

Once you are sure that the EA account is linked to your PSN account, go in-game, and register your BF3 purchase with the Code given with the game. ( You need this code to unlock multiplayer ).

Once all that is done, logg into Battlelog with the EA account which is linked to your PSN.

My Problem was I had 2 accounts, and was using the wrong one.

Also please try to register with a name as close to ur PSN account as possbile so we can easily identifiy you.
