Dead Island 9/6

I have all ready paid this game off anyone else getting it? It has been described has if Zombies invaded fall out. Main story is 25-30 hours long not including side quests. Also up to 4 players can play through it. I need me some zombie killing buddies so i can review this thing.

Just one more day untill this game comes out Reviews across the board are giving it 8.0+'s .

Its being described as if fallout and borderlands had an undead baby.

I did encounter a zombie near a cliff side. I shot him with my modified electric gun, broke one arm, chopped off another, embedded my poisonous machete in his head, lit him on fire with a Molotov cocktail, and finally kicked him off the side of the cliff.

Item's drop like loot a.k.a borderlands style and they can also be crafted.

It sounds a bit like the Jason movies lmao

bumping this in hopes someone else is getting this great game

its like oblivion but with zombies

Sigh i wish the people that joind me in game had mic's trying to do quests is so much harder with out one

i really want to get this game, saving the pennies for mw3 though

if i had it i'd join you, considering renting it.....

First impresions Dub?..........

The Game is amazing. If you are into Fallout Type Rpg's. Hundreds of weapons which can all be upgraded and modifed. A ton of quests im only 5 hours in and have done 30 or so quests. The World is huge and exploring it is half the fun. Lots of things to collect. The Zombie killing is top notch u can litterly chop each body part off. Don't like that zombie running after you beat its leg in so it can't then chop an arm off, then set it on fire. Weapons range from common to legendary. The Co-op is also drop in and out like borderlands. Anything done online with other players will reflect when your playing on ur own. The Zombies also scale with your level so there is always a challange. Weapons Can break so making sure you repair the good ones is key. So far the game is an absolute blast. Has some bugs just like New Vegas did but they will all get worked out at some point.

I have got this and tried the co=op but it aint working.

Also does anyone know if they have sorted out the trophies thing.... at the beginning of last week my mate and I tried but it seems that you can't get into the co-op and also that the trophies only show up if you log out of PSN....?

I put it down for now - but will be up for getting this completed at some point.

there is only 1 trophy that i know of thats glitched and thats the location based one. co-op is sketchy but i have completed all trophys for it. There was a patch that came out and was quickly pulled b/c it messed up peoples games so some people are on a diffrent version then others which will affect the joining of co-op games.
