| Here are a few hints and tips. If only I could stick to them myself...
Know the layout of the map you are on. If you know all the hidey-holes you won’t get caught out.
Always be aware of your surroundings – check left, right, centre and behind before moving into that open space and keep checking
Keep an eye on your map – the friend you thought was covering you may have just been killed leaving your back open to enemy bullets
Listen for footsteps - it may be the enemy
Use ghost to make you invisible to spy planes. Get it to pro to make you invisible to everything except a huey
Use ninja so the enemy can’t hear you coming
Try using a suppressor – you won’t show up on the map when you fire off a few rounds
If you prefer to sneak around and camp, do it. Don’t try running and gunning if it isn’t your style
Remember, a silly mistake gets you killed (and I should know!) and gives the enemy 100 points every time

| On the twitter account we are following 'black ops hints and tips' .. there is occasionally a good one there.
As a more general thing a lot of people 'up' the sensitivity on their controller, it does make your reactions much faster .. however when I tried it my accuracy went down the pan so I went back to the default '2'.
I am currently ghost-pro and use a suppressor (unless in Nuketown and Stadium then I use a flak jacket) and it certainly helps keep the death count down.

| Upping your sensitivity can mean the difference between killing or being killed. One notch can make it too fast. Mine is set at 4, any higher and I overspin to left or right which results in a death when trying to right it. |

| I used to be a very sensitive guy, had it as high as 8. But when an ex-girlfriend of mine told me how uncaring and how insensitive I was, I went back down to a 3. Now the funny thing is, since going back down to a 3 I have found that my general game play and killings on Blops has improved. So thank you ex-girlfriend for showing me how insensitive I was and don’t worry about your cat dying, you can always get another. Happy Killings.....

| I like the combat trainin for that as well. It really helps. Unfortunately, I haven't played on the new maps as much as I would have liked to yet. And it shows when I play the new maps...lol. | |

| Thanks LadyHazard! I'd join in if you were to hold it, providing it was held within my gaming hours (10pm - 2am or so EST) but don't make it a special occasion on my account. If there are other that would like to participate then I'd be more then happy to join!
Cheers! | |

| Black Ops Tip 1When you get any new maps first have 10 minutes running around on a private match learning them. Then have a couple of goes in combat training with the time set to unlimited and score set to 30000 and the bots set to recruit. By the time you have done this with every new map you should have an understanding of the maps. Next just play with the new maps online intill your fingers drop off. Black Ops Tip 2Have a friend in your friends list who doesn't have any of the map packs (Bubbaping). Invite them into your party and choose a game. Hopefully if all goes well you should be in a game with noobs who don't have the map packs and only play Black Ops now & again (easy killings). Happy Killings..... |
