I had a free moment to play around with my capture card last night and got the bugs worked out.....I hope LOL.

since I installed it, every game would record fine except BF3. When I recorded BF3 only video would record and not audio. Last night I booted up BF3......had me download the new patch.....POOF now audio records! No idea what that was about but I'm glad its fixed.

I'm recording in 720P and in Dolby Digital. I'm recording at 1.4GB per 1min of vid so this 3 minute video took like 4 hours to upload! So I'm gonna need to blow the dust of my sony vegas and break out the editing skills.

Anyways, here's a small raw footage vid from last night....let me know how it looks and sounds!

Only problem is the amount of data. Any DVR type program around that will store say the last 30 minutes of gameplay then dump the rest? That way as the next round loads you can cut out the good stuff to edit later.

I used to do that with Halo 2 but that was in the standard def days for me so I used vhs tapes then transferred to capture card.

yeah its set to only record in 3min increments. it records 3min and 4gbs and resets on the fly. this way I dont have to work with such enormous files.

I couldnt imagine trying to work with a 30 min file lol

I didn't mean increments, I mean like, record minute 1-15, once it reaches 15 minutes, it deletes minute 1 to get to 16. Like a security camera. Why are you recording in such high quality if you are uploading to the internet?

I would imagine you can drop the bit rate down.
