Training Day 2016 Empty
PostSubject: Training Day 2016   Training Day 2016 EmptyThu 11 Aug 2016, 11:12

Occasionally I find myself hitting a wall. Terrible K/D ratio, awful score, always sitting at the lower end of that end screen wishing I were just a bit better.

Back to the basics...

This is a game where target aquisition is the number one most beneficial skill needed to be successful. The faster you can get on target, the faster you can get rounds made successful downrange. To sharpen this skill I'm going to set up a training game. There was a youtube video created that I watched outlining this type of training.

The map is metro or maybe nuketown, the game is free for all. The bots are novice and plentiful. Setup as hardcore with an unlimited score and time limit. Your weapon is whatever you are currently using with extended mags, quick hands, and gung ho.

All you need to do is run and gun. Make a point to shoulder your weapon each time you unzip a bot. Get used to acquiring that target. They say that if you can kill 4-5 bots in one mag that is the goal. Any more and you are spraying and praying. Less is better because that means you are head shooting.

I'm going back to basics to become that much more deadly.

I agree that accuracy is a crucial part of a persons overall performance. With that being said though, when I used to play Battlefield competitively I found that Situational Awareness can be more beneficial to performance.

Here are the Guides I posted for members then. They're for BF3 but the general info in them is still fairly relevant.

I like the bots to be my bullet sponges because when I've been away My snap aiming is really off. It definitely helps to knock the rust off.
