Whats the best way to get a repair torch kill? I guess it's TDM and just catch a sniper?

I also need to win 3 rounds of Scavenger but I keep getting put on the worse group of randoms...

Got mine by attacking a tank with repair tool, the guy bailed i turned around and sets him on fire! As for scavenger i feel your pain i did mine pre-clan.

Repair-tool is actually great for destroying tanks if don't have any C4. You blow a tank up in about 3 seconds with it.

watch out because it matters on the angle you are looking at the tank. if you are at 90 degrees from the tank it will destroy real quick but if you are off by a little it will take longer. same thing goes for the SMAW/RPG. if you get a repair torch or rocket to the back of a tank or anything that is armored you can get a two hit kill. also it matters if they have reactive armor. if they do then do not even try with a repair torch. it will take to long and by then they will have figured out what you are doing and blow you sky high.

SSSOOOO I'm an idiot. Here I am being all whiney saying I can't get a torch kill... Here the story on how I got these tags...

I drove pass this guy (prone) and his friend (on his knee) facing down the road I didn't notice them til I pass them. Thought they noticed me so I throw it in reverse and went back I park RIGHT BESIDE HIM (no lie I probley step on him when I got out the van) knife him and shot his friend got back in the van and drove down the road then I thought to myself 5 seconds later...

I could've torched him...

Repair torch to an actual guy use to take forever. I don't know if they buffed the damage but it use to be something horrid like 10damage a sec. It also seems like they buffed the damage towards tanks since when the game was released.

I took a long break from the game and when I came back it seemed like everything I use to used was nerfed. And everything else was buffed. WTF stingers!!!! I a heli pilot I cannot stand those things now. They use to be garbage.

Also, I miss my automatic shotgun grenade launcher. That was beast mode lol.

speaking of shotguns... for those of you that play both bf and black ops, I can use a shotgun worth a damn in black ops but I a ruler in bf with the 870. Why am horrible at the shotgun in black ops but stomp ass in BF.

its the difference in the games lag im sure has a lot to do with it

torch kill is a pain.

I got mine on TDM sneaking up on some sniper.

was either Canals TDM on the trainyard or Caspian border TDM on the Rocks.

If you torch the head, it will kill them faster.

You can also get the Torch 1 vehicle kill if you torch a sniper Tugs or Spawn beacon as most equipment counts as a vehicle.

Got EOD bot kill same way, drive up to some camping sniper and torch them.

I keep forgetting I got do this damn kill and knifing them instead.

I got all of mine without even thinking about it I was just in a troll mode and before I knew it I had a few kills with the torch. Dont really think about doing it when the time is right you will know
