What is wrong with Battlefield 3?

So here's the problem I'm having. I can sign on, get in a match, play for a few random minutes then my system completely freezes. I restarted both routers, the disk is in Mint condition and the Far Cry 3 disk Ive been playing has run flawlessly. Any ideas guys?

I was getting black screens with no sound or video.

I ended up having to delete all the DLC and reinstall.

yes, it did take a long time to re download everything but it did fix my problem.

so that may be a last resort fix for you.

-Disabling your Media Server.
-Clearing your PS3's Browser Cache.

This is how you do the above:

You would have to go into your PS3 Settings, click on Network Settings, and you'll find the Media Server options.

Browser -> Triangle -> Tools -> Clear Cache.

If the above does not help, you may need to contact PS3 for further help because I have heard this may be do to overheating issues with the PS3 or the Laser Reader on the PS3 may be going out. Hope this helps.
